On this ride, bikes were sometimes noted to move outwardly and bear on the diaper pin. Ultimately the diaper pin may break and the bike may fall off. Following are inspection tips:
1. Make sure ride is level. Out of level sweeps may cause the bike to slide outward.
2. Make sure bike tires are properly inflated. Deflated tires can cause or exasperate an outward sweep slope.
3. Instruct operators to load the ride themselves. Patrons pulling on the bike to climb may cause it to slide outwardly.
4. Instruct operators to circle the ride every couple of loadings to make sure no bikes are slidingoutwardly.
5. Instruct assembling crew to tighten screw thru bike sleeve |
