Knowing the Car Components that Affected Water

The rainy season has arrived, car users have to do extra preparation in anticipation of a strike or any part of the vehicle is damaged due to enter a car or just get wet. It is therefore important to know part of the vehicle that is sensitive to the water is very important, include:

  • Spark plugs, electronic fuel injection (EFI), coils, distributors, and platinum.
  • Alternator, if submerged in water it can make a sound accompanied by the reduction of electric power. Even if the water mixed with mud, the engine may die suddenly.
  • Air filters, if water enters through the carburetor and the engine was forced to live or walk, it can cause the piston bent or even broken. The same result can occur if water enters through the air intake.
  • Air holes transmission, because this section can be passed water, it was likely mixed with transmission oil. As a result it may cause noise or at least result in loss or rusty gear.
  • Braking system, it will not work perfectly because of the water. Note the rubber brake. To drum or disc system, which has been torn rubber can cause water to inundate parts of it, and caused the rust that eventually tie up the brake system as a whole.

How to Replacing the Radiator Water

If the engine of your car gets hot drastically, it’s time you check the condition of the car radiator water. Therefore, the reduced water in the radiator can be caused by evaporation and leakage.

Evaporation is a common thing to happen. However, if the water radiator decreases rapidly and the temperature increased sharply in a short time, the possibility of a leak in your car radiator. Therefore, care radiator should be noticed.

Radiator is a component that functions as a regulator of engine temperature. In it, there is water to the radiator (water cooling system) that served to cool the machine. To prevent corrosion, water radiator must be replaced periodically. Leaks in the system occur when radiator water inhaled into the combustion chamber or into the lubrication system.

It is better to fill the radiator with pure water “H2O”. The pure water “H2O” can be found in the garage and automotive shop. The characteristics of pure water is a blue lid with the statement “could be used for water radiator”

In emergency conditions, with the conditions of heat engines, you can check and add water to the radiator in the following way:

  1. Stop your vehicle in a safe place
  2. Let the machine be turned on
  3. Open the engine cover
  4. Take a cloth or rag and lightly mist with water, then turn the radiator cap slowly to the hot air in the radiator drain out.
  5. Let the water out of the radiator pressure to halt.
  6. Open the radiator cap
  7. Add water into the radiator until full
  8. Hit the gas pedal
  9. Add the water back into the radiator
  10. Close the radiator
  11. The car was ready for use again

It is important to note:

“Do not add water to the radiator when the engine hot and of”

Because most likely you will be exposed to bursts of hot water that comes out of the hole when the water filled radiators. The skin may blister if exposed to splashes of water to the radiator. This happens because the water pressure inside the radiator is greater than air pressure outside of the radiator, until the water will spray out.

Properly and Correctly Technique to Brakes on the Vehicle

When to stop the vehicle speed, whether in the slow or sudden brake condition is a device that can reduce vehicle speed, as well as brake clutch is of the absolute use when braking.

The function of the clutch in while braking is to prevent the death of a car engine rotation. Because if the rotation torque of the engine is under the recommended minimum of a vehicle which is usually the engine will die. So, that’s why every braking clutch pedal must be pressed / stamped. However, our question is where is the first step on the clutch or brake?

The answer is, it could first clutch or brake first. Because if the clutch is not trampled on first when braking in the rate of the less tight the engine will die, therefore the coupling must be stepped on first to keep from the vehicle engine off because the rate has slowed but has not stepped on the clutch. However, for the vehicle speed is fast, the emphasis on the first brake pedal is also allowed because the engine will not die if the engine speed is high, and then coupled with the clutch or direct drive with no clutch pedal again.

Thus, use of the clutch or brake is stepped on is first adjusted to the pace and purpose of braking the vehicle itself. However, the important thing is to reduce vehicle speed by reducing the emphasis on the gas pedal or release the gas pedal is highly recommended. This needs to be trained to determine the time the vehicle will stop after the accelerator is released. By reducing the use of brakes, the car we do not waste energy in vain and will certainly save more fuel usage.
